Built in 1853, this house at 124 Water is the oldest surviving residential structure in Warrensburg. Through the years, many of the old town structures have been lost to redevelopment or neglect. When the current property owners bought the house in 2012, it was in desperate need of repairs. The property has been modified with an addition and several remolding projets, but the main form of the original structure remains intact. The addition was done in such a way as to complement the original structure and does not detract from its historic significance. The home is also known to be the former residence of Colonel Roberts, a veteran of the Civil War.
Listed as a Local Landmark in 2016.
